16 Aug All IN’s submissions to the Ministry of Housing and Ministry of Municipal Affairs on Inclusionary Zoning and Affordable Housing
The Ontario Government has introduced Bill 204 to allow municipalities to require private developers to build affordable housing.
While this is a great step, All IN urges the government of Ontario to go further and ensure that building affordable housing becomes part of every municipality’s blueprint, that such housing be integrated into every neighbourhood, that homes are also built for those with special needs, and that sufficient funding is available to ensure the immediate and long-term building of affordable housing for Ontarians of all income levels.
Housing is all of our responsibility.
